Band Parent Messages

We are off to a great competition beginning. Hope everyone had a great time on Saturday, I know that the band looked AWESOME! As you may or may not be aware the Band Association provides one meal to the band for a competition. With the competitions being so close to Highlands this year that meal will mainly be at school. Last week we had barbeque, potatoes, corn, pasta, peanut butter/jelly, cheese, carrots and dip, chips, assorted drinks and ice cream for dessert. So as you can tell we like to make sure the kids get a good meal and everyone has things to choose from.

Another thing that the hospitality committee wants to be able to provide to the band is water for the warm up periods at the competitions. In order to be able to continue to do this we need each family to donate at least one case of water per band member that you have in marching band. We need the water by 9/15/05 to ensure we have enough for competition. You can bring it by when you pick up your band member. If you don't see Rhonda, Diana, Ronda or Angie you can put the water in the hall by Lori's office and we will get it put away.
